At Hoosier Burn Camp, volunteers play a vital role in creating a supportive and empowering environment for our campers and their families. Whether you’re interested in working directly with young burn survivors or supporting behind the scenes, there are many meaningful ways to get involved. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and skill sets—your time, energy, and passion can have a lasting impact.

Volunteer Application Process
Hoosier Burn Camp now accepts all volunteer applications—both returning staff and new applicants—only between December 1 and January 31.

• Applications officially open on December 1 and close January 31 each year.

• Summer Camp volunteer counselors and support staff must be at least 21 years old and able to commit to the entire week of camp, as well as all mandatory staff training dates.

For New Volunteers
You may complete the Summer Camp Volunteer Interest Form at any time throughout the year. This helps us get to know you and stay connected.
During the official application window (December 1–January 31), all new volunteers who have submitted an interest form will receive a link to the full volunteer application.

For Returning Volunteers
Use the links below to access returning staff applications once the application window opens on December 1.
